Refund and Returns Policy for BYD LABS

Our Refund and Returns Policy complies with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
1. General Returns
- Customers have 7 days from the date of physical delivery to return unopened, non-perishable laboratory consumables, glassware, plasticware, or safety equipment.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
2. Chemicals and Reagents Exception
- Due to safety standards, quality control benchmarks, and contamination hazards, certain laboratory chemicals and reagents cannot be returned or refunded once the factory seal has been broken or if the product requires specific temperature-controlled storage.
- Please ensure you review your specifications carefully prior to placing bulk order requests.
3. Damaged or Defective Items
- In the event that glassware or laboratory apparatus arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery at infor@bydp.co.za with photographic evidence.
- We will coordinate a replacement or issue a full refund/store credit for verified delivery damage.
4. Refunds Processing
Once your return is received and strictly inspected by our quality control lab, we will send you an email notification. Approved refunds will be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
